How AGL operates

Please read the following information for a description of how AGL runs and how matches are setup and played.

How to setup a match

Once you have entered your clan into one of our gaming leagues and ladders, in order to start actively playing you will need to setup a match. Setting up a match is simple. In order to do so complete the following:

  1. Navigate to our setup match page (found on the main menu bar of each page)
  2. Complete the setup match form entering your clan details e.g. name & match password. Then enter the details of who you want to play and associated arrangements e.g. match date & time.
  3. Once completed form submit it to AGL. Once done so the opponents who you are challenging will be e-mailed outlining the match challenge and details. The opponents will then reply to the e-mail either confirming or rejecting match. You will then be e-mailed outlining if your opponents wish to participate.
  4. Once match is confirmed details will then be automatically posted onto our match calendar

Receiving a match Challenge

If another clan challenges your clan to a match you will be notified via your registered e-mail address. This e-mail will contain details relating to the challenged match.

Once you receive a match challenge please reply to the e-mail either excepting the challenge or rejecting it.

If you accept a match challenge details will then be posted in our match calendar.

After match has been played

Once the match has been played please confirm the result with your opposition on server at the end of the match. Once the score has been confirmed please post the result in our forums.

If it was a Base Builder match please post the result in the base builder section, If it was a Voodoo Doll match please post the result in the Voodoo Doll section etc.

Once match results have been entered into our forums the relevant game type league will be updated.

2v2v2v2v2v2 Matches

All matches apart from 2v2v2v2v2v2 matches will be setup using the above instructions. However 2v2v2v2v2v2 matches operate in a different way. AGL admin will setup the match specifying the 6 clans involved, when & where it will take place. In other words if you have entered the 2v2v2v2v2v2 lader table you will be notified through our forums and e-mail when a match is taking part, you do not have to do anything in order to setup a match.

Additional Information

DMW must be used by all players in AGL matches as Alternative Gaming League is a cheat free zone!
Alternatively if one or a couple of players are having problems running DMW, a player can only take part in a match without the use of DMW if the opposition agrees to let them play.

All matches have a 15 minute leeway. Both teams must be ready to play the match within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. If one team is not ready after that time they must either concede defeat or ask the opponents for a time extension (which will be at the desegregation or the opponents).

If your teams turns up for a match and the opponents do not. Please stay on the match server for 15 minutes. If no opposition turns up after this time period your clan will get an automatic win.

If you have any problems or require further assistance in relation to AGL operation please post your question in our forums or email an admin. Thank you and most of all have fun!
